+Rayne’s role as a god in the new world was well known. What was less known was the private life he also continued with the circus for many years after the creation of the new world. As they founded the new land of Circustopia Rayne travelled with the circus, unknown to all the new members as to who he truly was.
+He was content to go back to his tricks, teaching any interested the art of illusions, including his adopted daughter, Eva. After fifteen years with the circus Rayne set out to travel the new world. He took a small group of performers to share Phael’s circus with those outside Circustopia. One of Phael’s best ringmaster’s led the expedition and Eva accompanied, now a performer with the circus.
+Rayne enjoyed seeing the new world up close with his own eyes, travelling for some years before retiring. After he disappeared from the Circus rumours spread and were confirmed of who the quiet magician really was. Some say that the god of wisdom still enjoys travelling the world performing his tricks for those that are interested and this is why it has become a tradition to always offer hospitality to a travelling performer in return for a show.

+In the old world Rayne was never much of a scholar but he always appreciated the importance of understanding and knowledge. Now, as the God of Wisdom he helps promote and protect knowledge in all places. He very rarely grants audiences to those that come to see him, instead leaving them to make their requests of the Church of the Crystal Sun, that founded in the new world by Luther formerly of the Cult of the New Sun. He leaves them to provide what assisstance is asked for.
+It is usual for people to come seeking not the help of the god but his church and scholars whose wisdom is renowned throughout the world. The scholars are always willing to teach those that ask what they need to know and help them in this way. It is almost unknwon since the earliest days of the new world for Rayne to ever take any direct action though many suspect that he might act in more subtle ways.
